Pony Boy Records is very proud, once again, to announce the date for the Seventh Annual Pony Boy Records Jazz Picnic. Returning to Seattle's Sand Point Magnuson Park on Sunday afternoon, September 12, by overwhelming demand, the label is bringing another great line-up for this years' Jazz Picnic. Featuring some of the Northwest's finest jazz from the Pony Boy Records stable or artists, as well as some friends from abroad, including New York, Israel, and Kobe, Japan. There will be CDs for sale and goodies from our sponsors.

Pack A Picnic: Stop at one of our favorite food sponsors - or grab a gourmet dog onsite, and groove to casual performances by some of the Northwest's top jazz artists in the lovely setting of the Garden Amphiteatre, with the lake and the fantastic floral backdrop.

History: In September 2004, Pony Boy Records celebrated our tenth anniversary by producing the first Jazz Picnic and it proved to be a very successful event for our community of jazz fans, our sponsors and the many jazz artists performing at Magnuson Park. This year we are expecting a record attendance at this one-of-a-kind jazz concert. Winner of the 2006 Earshot Jazz Award for contributions to Seattle's jazz scene, Pony Boy Records is an independent jazz and swing label based in Seattle. With a sucessful history of over 50 releases to date, each Pony Boy project is a partnership between the artist and the label, each with dynamic style and a jazz energy!

Sponsors: Varlamos Pizzeria, Bosphorus Cymbals, Hiroshi's Restaurant & Catering, Ann Babb/Chuck Cady RE/MAX NW, Northwest Pianos, Pro Piano Move, Silver Platters, Keep Posted, Sand Point Grill, The Duchess Tavern , Magnolia Audio-Video, Real Time, Donn Bennett Drum Studio, Innervisions Posters & Frames, Great Harvest Bakery. Media sponsors include KPLU 88.5FM, The Stranger, Earshot Jazz, and SeattleJazzScene.com.

Admission: Free! A suggested tip-jar donation of $10 gets a discount on festival merchandise.
